Are you the Vietnamese government?
No. The Viet Travel is an independent third-party company with no affiliation to the Government of Vietnam. You can apply on the official e-visa website yourself and pay only the government fee.
How long does it take?
Standard applications are issued about 4 working days after payment. In a hurry? Choose a rush option: 3, 2 or 1 working day, same day or 1-hour express, plus weekend and Vietnamese public holiday rush. The application form shows the expected issue date based on when you pay.
What if my application is rejected?
The government fee is normally not refundable because it has been paid to the Government of Vietnam. If the rejection is our fault, we refund everything except the government fee or re-apply for free. If it is due to incorrect or false applicant information, nothing is refunded. With the optional rejection protection, if the e-visa is not issued (and not because of incorrect or false applicant information), we refund what you paid, including the government fee. Is my passport data safe?
Your passport image and personal data are used only to process your visa application, and are encrypted in transit and at rest. They are kept until six months before your passport expires so you can reuse them next time, then deleted automatically. You can also delete them at any time in your account.
